Abstract

Obesity is a health problem that has become globally significant in recent decades. Obesity is often associated with low-grade chronic inflammation. This review aims to describe the relationship of inflammation in obesity. The method used is descriptive qualitative by conducting a literature review related to inflammation and obesity. The study's results indicate that inflammation is related to obesity and has an important role. Inflammation is a manifestation of increased oxidative stress. This usually occurs in individuals who are obese.
